01 · The idea

Why a hands-free dog leash your walks change.

A regular dog leash occupies one hand. Always. Picking up the phone, holding coffee, throwing a ball. Everything with one hand. A hands-free leash gives you back two hands. You wear it crossbody and your dog walks beside you.

For runners, it is essential: your arms must move freely. But for daily walkers, it is also a game changer. Just try walking a dog with coffee in one hand, a poop bag in the other, and a leash that needs to be somewhere in between.

02 · The use

Crossbody carrying: how does it work?

Our hands-free dog leash is worn over your shoulder, diagonally across your body. Your dog walks at your hip, your hands are free. The leash is adjustable in length so you can set it just right for your body.

01

Crossbody

Over the shoulder, diagonally. Your dog at your hip, your hands free. Ideal for city walks and grocery shopping.

02

In the hand

You can also simply hold the belt in your hand like a classic belt. Handy for moments when you want maximum control.

03

Adjustable

Set the length according to your body and situation. Shorter for the city, longer for quiet paths.

Running with your dog: this is what you must do to know.

A hands-free belt is ideal for running. Your arms move freely, the belt sits securely over your shoulder, and your dog walks beside you. The waterproof material and brass hardware can withstand sweat, rain, and mud. Combine with our dog harness for the best control.

Start slowly. Let your dog get used to the pace first. Running is only responsible when your dog is fully grown. For large breeds, this is after 12-18 months. Start with short sessions of 10 minutes and gradually build up.

Frequently asked questions.

Is a hands-free belt safe for my dog?

Yes, as long as your dog does not pull excessively. For strong pullers, we recommend first training with our dog harness with a front clip before switching to hands-free.

Can I also use the hands-free belt as a regular belt?

Yes. You can just hold it in your hand like a classic belt. You don't need to buy two belts.

At what age can my dog start running with me?

Only when your dog is fully grown. For small breeds after 8-10 months, for large breeds after 12-18 months. Start with short sessions and gradually build up.

Which belt is better: waterproof or hands-free?

Our waterproof leash is ideal for those who want to hold the leash in hand. The hands-free leash is perfect if you want your hands free. Both are waterproof and have brass hardware.
