01 · The Breed

Why aLabradoodleneeds a harness.

Labradoodles are energetic, social, and curious. They want to go everywhere and love pulling on the leash to get there. With a collar, all pulling force goes to the neck — not ideal for a dog enthusiastically discovering the world.

A dog harness distributes pressure across the chest and shoulders. More comfortable for your Labradoodle, more control for you. Especially for puppies still learning to walk on a leash, a harness is always the safer choice.

02 · The Product

What should you look for in a harness for aLabradoodle?

Labradoodles have an athletic body with a wide chest. Their curly coat can chafe under narrow straps. The Unboring harness has a wide Y-shaped chest panel that distributes pressure without cutting into the coat.

01

Wide chest panel

The Y-shaped design distributes pressure across the full width of the chest. No narrow straps that chafe in the curly coat or cause matting.

02

Front and back clip

Labradoodles are enthusiastic and love to pull. The front clip helps with pull training — your dog automatically turns towards you. The back clip is for relaxed walks.

03

Easy to clean

After a muddy walk, just rinse and the harness is clean again. The material dries quickly and doesn't absorb odours.

03 · The Right Size

Which size harness fits aLabradoodle?

Labradoodles vary greatly in size, depending on whether it's a Medium or Standard Labradoodle. Medium Labradoodles (15-25 kg) usually fit size M (chest circumference 52-72 cm). Standard Labradoodles (25-35 kg) fit size L (chest circumference 65-90 cm).

Measure the chest circumference at the widest point, just behind the front legs. Keep two fingers of space — with the curly coat of a Labradoodle that's extra important. Not sure? Always choose the larger size. The harness is adjustable on 4 points. Check our size guide for exact measurements. Available in four colours: Cocoa, Lilac, Moonlight Blue, and Moss.

Frequently asked questions.

What size harness does a Labradoodle need?

Medium Labradoodles (15-25 kg) usually fit size M (chest circumference 52-72 cm). Standard Labradoodles (25-35 kg) fit size L (65-90 cm). Always measure the chest circumference at the widest point and keep two fingers of space.

Doesn't a harness chafe in the curly coat?

Not if the harness is wide enough. Our Y-shaped chest panel distributes pressure widely and doesn't chafe. The material is smooth and doesn't cause matting. Brushing the coat under the harness after a walk is always a good idea.

My Labradoodle pulls a lot on the leash. Does a harness help?

The front clip makes it physically harder to pull through. Your dog automatically turns towards you. Combine with positive training for the best result. Read our no-pull guide for 7 proven tips.

Which harness for a Labradoodle puppy?

Start with size S or M, depending on the pup's size. Labradoodle puppies grow fast, so check every two weeks if the harness still fits. The harness is adjustable on 4 points, so you have some room to grow into.
